Maureen and Jim Otremba have been married since 1995 and both have been part-time stay-at-home parents since 1999. They have three children on earth and seven in heaven. They are frequent presenters of retreats and workshops for couples, deacons and their wives, and lay ministers around the U.S. They have written several articles for the U.S. Bishops’ website (ForYourMarriage.org), and have appeared on EWTN.
Maureen holds a Master’s in Theology from St. John’s University (Collegeville, MN) with a concentration in Scripture. She has served in faith formation, marriage preparation, university administration and pastoral care, and taught high school in both Catholic and public schools for 10 years. She is a regular contributor to The St. Cloud Visitor, their diocesan newspaper, and is currently enjoying her role as a stay-at-home mom.
Jim holds a Master of Divinity from St. John’s University (Collegeville, MN) and a Master of Science in Applied Psychology from St. Cloud State University. He is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota and the owner of, and a therapist at, Center for Family Counseling, Inc. (a state licensed mental health clinic in St. Cloud, MN). He also works as a Catholic life-style coach at: www.CoachingInChrist.com, and is a regular guest on National Catholic Radio (Relevant Radio’s Morning Air Show).
Together they bring their personal and professional teachings to thousands of Catholics each year throughout the U.S. through workshops, Catholic workbooks, and retreats. They are dynamic speakers who use high energy and humor and have presented at the national, diocesan, and parish level.
